Definitions 1.1 "Company" means the supplier of the Hired Items. 1.2 "Customer" means the party hiring goods and/or receiving services from the Company. 1.3 "Hired Items" means any goods or items hired by the Customer from the Company. 1.4 "Hire Period" means the period beginning on collection of the Hired Items and ending on their return and acceptance by the Company. 1.5 "Insurance Risk Value" means the value assigned to the Hired Items by the Company for the purpose of insurance and risk assessment.

Ordering 2.1 Prior to the provision of any services, the Customer shall furnish the Company with a formal order document containing the Customer’s full contact details, a comprehensive description of all goods to be hired, and any other reasonably required information.

Hire Charges 3.1 Hire Charges shall be calculated as follows:

1st Week: 10% of the Insurance Risk Value
2nd Week: 7.5% of the Insurance Risk Value
3rd Week: 2.5% of the Insurance Risk Value
Each subsequent week: 2.5% of the Insurance Risk Value

Hire Period and Deposit 4.1 The Hire Period shall commence upon collection of the Hired Items and shall terminate upon their return and acceptance by the Company. 4.2 The Company reserves the right to require a deposit prior to collection, particularly where Hired Items are to be taken outside of the United Kingdom.

Care, Damage, Loss, and Insurance 5.1 The Customer shall maintain the Hired Items in good repair and condition. 5.2 Any damaged or altered items shall be restored solely by the Company, with all restoration costs charged to the Customer. 5.3 Items not returned or deemed beyond reasonable repair will be charged at the full Insurance Risk Value. 5.4 The Customer shall insure the Hired Items for their full Insurance Risk Value against loss or damage from collection until return and acceptance. Insurance must be arranged through reputable London market insurers.

Payment and Interest 6.1 If the Customer fails to make payment when due, the Company may charge interest at 4% per annum above BOE base rate. 6.2 Interest will accrue daily and compound quarterly until payment is received in full.

Ownership, Condition, and Warranty 7.1 The Company warrants it is the legal owner of the Hired Items and has the authority to hire them. 7.2 The Company makes no warranty as to fitness for purpose. Items are hired as non-functioning props in the condition viewed. 7.3 No work will be carried out on Hired Items unless agreed in writing. 7.4 The Customer is responsible for ensuring the suitability and safe use of the Hired Items. 7.5 Electrical goods are not supplied for use as originally intended and should be safety-checked by the Customer. 7.6 No warranties are given; all responsibility for use lies with the Customer. The Company excludes all liability relating to the use of the Hired Items.

Limitation of Liability 8.1 The Company shall not be liable for loss of profit, business, goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss. 8.2 The Company’s total liability is limited to the value of the contract. 8.3 The Company is not liable for delays or non-performance due to events beyond its reasonable control.

Intellectual Property 9.1 All intellectual property rights in goods and services supplied remain the exclusive property of the Company, unless owned by third parties. 9.2 The Company claims no rights over the Customer’s productions or derivative works. 9.3 The Customer is responsible for identifying and complying with third-party IP rights and shall indemnify the Company against any claims.

Force Majeure 10.1 The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, natural disasters, war, strikes, or failure of suppliers. 10.2 In such cases, the Company shall be granted a reasonable extension of time.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction 11.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 11.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
